This is my husband's great-great grandfather. We don't know much about him other than he lived his whole life in Arkansas and had 8 children. The only picture I have of him is this one and it was emailed to me at 72dpi. So at 300dpi, it is less than 1 inch square. So ... I had to do some creative photo manipulation to even get a mini page out of this but I am happy with the result. This was created with background paper from Michelle Coleman's Days of Autumn kit from www.ScrapArtist.com. I also used her Brush Strokes Acrylic Brushes. The other grunge brushes are by Eduardo Recife at www.MisprintedType.com. Fonts are Beat My Guest, CK Storybook and Swiss911 XCm B7. Created with Photoshop CS. Needless to say, there are lots of Virtual Photographer and Photoshop filters as well as Photoshop gradients used here! |
