This layout is of my oldest son. He has always been so shy. It's encouraging when we have days like this when he is really enjoying "just being a kid." The title of this layout is meant to have a double meaning (obviously that he is balancing on the bridge, but also that Nick is figuring out the perfect balance of shyness and being a free-spirited kid). The journaling reads: I was so proud of you today, Nicholas . You have been at Cub Scout camp all week, but I only got to come for the last day. The camp counselors said you have come such a long way in just a week. You have always been a very reserved child, but today, I didnt see that at all. You wanted to try everything! In this particular event, you made it over the monkey bridge with no trouble at all. There are fewer and fewer obstacles that you cant do these days. Its wonderful to see you growing up. All papers and elements are from Gina Cabrera's Boys & Their Toys kit (from Digital Design Essentials). Fonts are Monika, OCR A Extended and Mariette Tryout. Created in Photoshop CS. |
