This layout is really special to me and one I've been wanting to do for a long time. It makes me sad and happy all at the same time just to look at it. When I was born, I had 4 grandparents and 4 great-grandparents. I don't have any left. It's very humbling to think that 2 generations have passed away. Now I'm second in line after my parents. Life really is so fleeting. My mortality often crosses my mind and when I heard this song by Brad Paisley, I knew exactly the layout I wanted to do. The faces on this layout are all of my grandparents. That's me sitting on my great-grandpa's lap just about a year before he died. It's comforting to me to think that I will be with them again. This is truly my heaven.
